Marketing and Event Assistant
(Full time - Summer Position, Two Positions Available)

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing and Events Assistant.

• Assist in the planning and execution of events at Beaches Community Centre including Summer Winds Music Festival, Country Markets, Saturday breakfasts, Pickleball tournaments, and other smaller events throughout the summer.

• Assist in securing sponsorships and prize donations for events.

• Take videos and photos, create exciting and engaging social media posts, and update websites.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the local community and providing events that draw the community together. They have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and car and be 18 years of age as some events are licensed. They must have their own computer, internet, cell phone, and very technically savvy! They should be comfortable working with volunteers, local businesses and other non-profit organizations.
